Playoff Picking Starts Today
Point spreads for Wild Card Weekend have been updated so picking for this weekend’s games is now open. Picks are locked at kick-off for each game so be sure to get yours in before the deadline.
NFL Playoff Pools
Week 17 starts this weekend (sniff, sniff) but the post-season is just around the corner. Keep the gridiron action going with an NFL Playoff Pool:

Bowl Game Spreads
The initial lines for the 34 bowl games have been updated on the site. The point spreads may change as we move through the schedule but will be locked for each game no later than two days prior to kick-off.
Week 13 Spreads Updated
The spreads for Week 13 were updated this morning.
The lines for Oakland vs. Pittsburgh and Minnesota vs. Arizona were not posted at any major casinos (due to uncertainty about which quarterbacks would be starting on Sunday) but these two games have been updated.
Houston vs. Jacksonville and San Francisco vs. Seattle are set at “no spread” which means neither team is favored.

Thursday Night Football starts this week!
The Chicago visits San Francisco in the season’s first Thursday night game.
Kick-off is scheduled for November 12th at 8:20pm (EDT).
Those playing in Survivor, Confidence or Pick Em pools with the “1st Game” pick deadline need to get your picks for the week saved before the game starts.
Late pick submissions will not be accepted.
User Consensus Picks
A new feature is live on the site that tracks user picks from sports sites including ESPN, Yahoo and this site. A consensus pick will be displayed based the picks from all three site.

Seattle at Indianapolis Line Update
The spread for the Seahawks vs. Colts game was changed to IND -10.
Only one Las Vegas sportsbook, Stations Casinos, had posted IND -9 when we posted the line yesterday. Today all books are out with the -10 number and some online books have already bumped up to -10.5.
Interesting MNF Statistic
Going into last night’s MNF game Carolina was 8-9 as a road underdog. In the nine losses, the Panthers lost by an average of 14 points.
The score of last night’s game: Carolina:7, Dallas: 21.
Since the line on the game was Dallas -9, players who thought the Cowboys would win at home would have done well to pick them to cover the spread as well.
