NFL Pre-Season Ending
There are a couple of things to look forward to this weekend: Labor Day barbecues, not having to go to work on Monday and the end of pre-season football! Admit it: as much as you enjoy seeing your favorite teams in uniform and on the field, pre-season football can only hold your attention for so long.
Fortunately, the regular season starts Thursday, September 4th when the Washington Redskins visit the New York Giants. Are you ready for some football? Some real football?

AFC or NFC? The votes are in and 53% of you picked the NFC to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy compared to just 47% picking the AFC.
Custom Pick Deadlines
One of the new features we’ve been getting positive feedback on is the option to set custom pick deadlines for NFL Pick Em games. How does this work?
Just click on “Game Settings” and then select “Set Pick Deadline”. You can set your game to lock picking 1) at kick-off of first game each week; 2) at kick-off of the first Sunday game; or 3) at kick-off for each game.
Sorry, picking for Confidence and Survivor games both end at kick-off of the first game each week. Setting the pick deadline any later would not be fair.
New Football Pools Available
New football pools are live on the site as of this morning. We’ve been working all summer to improve our service and have included many of the items suggested by our users at the end of the 2007 NFL season.
This year we are offering four formats:
