Dallas CowboysUsers said that the Dallas Cowboys are in the worst position with Tony Romo out until mid-November (46%).

Fans are almost as equally worried about the Indianapolis Colts (37%) who are playing inconsistent football and trailing the undefeated Tennessee Titans in the AFC South.

Tennessee TitansTennessee’s 5-0 start has been the biggest surprise so far this season with 46% of votes. Arizona at 4-2 is also a standout with 29% of votes.

New York was the heavy favorite with half of the voters (49%) guessing that the Giants would remain undefeated the longest. Buffalo was the second most popular pick (37%) with Tennessee getting just 15% of votes.

NFL Poll: Should Lane Kiffin Quit as Head Coach of the Raiders?

Oakland RaidersLast week we asked our users whether or not Lane Kiffin should quit before Al Davis could fire him: 64% voted “No”. This became a moot question today when it was announced that the Raiders fired their head coach.

Kiffin’s firing comes a day after Scott Linehan was fired as head coach of the St. Louis Rams. Both teams were former Los Angeles franchises.

DeSean Jackson Player Profile on NFL.comEd Hochuli shouldn’t feel so bad. When we polled our users about the worst play of Week Two, his blown call in the Chargers / Broncos game barely edged DeSean Jackson’s premature TD celebration on MNF.

For those of you who missed it, DeSean dropped the ball before crossing into the end zone. The TD was challenged and overruled. Southwest should commission him for one of their “Wanna get away?” commercials.

NFL Poll: Biggest disappointment from Week One?

Tom Brady, QB - New England PatriotsOver half of respondents (53%) said that the injury to New England Patriot’s QB Tom Brady was the biggest disappointment from Week One. This goes to show that while many non-New Englanders may hate Giselle’s boy-toy while he’s on the field, few want to see him sidelined by an injury.

San Diego’s last second loss to Carolina was the second biggest disappointment with 31% of votes.

NFL Poll: Most Improved Team from Last Year?

Football fans are most excited about Brett Favre joining the New York Jets (65% of total votes). The Jets are expected to show the most improvement over 2007’s record of 4-12. With New England’s Tom Brady out for the season, it could be a good year indeed for New York’s other team. Who else will challenge for the AFC East title? The Buffalo Bills?

Miami came in a distant second with 26% of votes. It’s hard not to believe that the Fins will improve on last year’s dismal 1-15 record.

Dallas CowboysThere are lots of Dallas Cowboys faithful with the Boys getting 42% of the votes cast. No love for last year’s Super Bowl champs the Giants (13%) or the NFC West champion Seahawks (7%).

“Other” got a whopping 38% of the votes. Eagles? Yous guys down in Philly might have a chance if Donovan McNabb can stay healthy.
